Your newborn photography session is more than just taking a photo; it is about documenting the beauty of motherhood (and fatherhood) and the tender moments of pure love and emotion. You won’t get these days back, and they will fly by. This season of life is exhausting yet beautiful. This is why I love to serve moms.
I have a full client wardrobe with beautiful dresses for your newborn session. I work with the best makeup artist in the area to help you look and feel beautiful and confident in front of the camera. Along with natural posing with your best angles in mind, your session will feel effortless.
My newborn style is baby-led and intentionally slow to capture authentic moments and raw emotions. Sessions with siblings are playful and fun. We ensure big brother or sister feels special and is celebrated too!
As a mom of three, I know how true it is when they say, the days are long but the years are short. Your baby’s first year will fly by, and you don’t want to miss out on documenting this season.

Home sessions are great if you have a
beautiful home or nursery that you want to
showcase in your portraits. Home sessions
are best in a home with neutral paint colors
and lots of natural light.
Home sessions have
a lifestyle feel to them. We still get beautiful
images of your family and your new baby,
using the items in your home for the images.

Studio sessions are a client favorite because I have everything you need in my studio.
You can show up for your
session in your yoga pants, and we take care
of the rest. The light is always beautiful, and
you do not have to worry about tidying your
home right after having a baby.

I recommend booking your newborn session in your second trimester to ensure
availability. When your baby is born, reach out within 48 hours to finalize your
session date. I will send you a link to my calendar, and you can pick the date that
works best for you. To achieve those lovely sleepy newborn images, I recommend
scheduling your session within the first 7-14 days after birth.

I'll help you take things a step further than digital images that sit on your computer. Framed artwork for gallery walls, print albums, and other keepsakes can all be custom designed for your home and delivered to you.

Professional hair and makeup is available to make your day effortless and more relaxing. No one will ever know you were up all night with your newborn! Professional hair and makeup artists love to help you feel and look beautiful in front of the camera!
Hair and Makeup
Over fifty dresses are available to borrow during your newborn photo session, curated from lines such as BHLDN, Baltic Born, Free People, and more. Sizes range from XS to XXL. Clothing is also available to borrow for babies and young children, keeping your shopping time and clothing budget to a bare minimum!
The Client Wardrobe
My studio is located in a vintage bungalow in the heart of Houston Heights, centrally located on Yale Street. Just a few steps away are farm-to-table restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and unique playgrounds. You can also reserve a lifestyle newborn session at home!

Your newborn photos deserve better than being 1 in 1 Million saved on your phone.
A signed contract and your Signature Session fee or Collective Session fee is required to reserve your session. After submitting the session fee, you will receive an email with your contract. Please complete it as soon as it is received to ensure your date is reserved.
I’m ready to book. What’s the next step?
Your images are carefully edited and enhanced by hand to match the Grace and Giggles Photography Standards. This process takes about 3 - 4 weeks. If you need your images sooner than three weeks, you may rush your images for $200, which will have them ready one week after your session date. If you would like to add a rush, this must be discussed before booking and is subject to availability.
When will my images be ready?
I work with the best hair and makeup artist in Houston and will coordinate hair and makeup for your newborn session if desired.
Do you offer hair and makeup services?
I recommend: Needle and Thread, Nothing Fits But, Baltic Born, BHLDN, Anthropologie, Free People, Doen, Love Shack Fancy, or Reformation. For babies: Isla and Fraser, Jamie Kay. For kids: Zara, H&M, Carter's Little Planet, NoraLee, Jamie Kay, Joyfolie, Rylee and Cru.
I want to purchase my own wardrobe, what stores do you recommend?
The Grace and Giggles wardrobe has over forty dresses for moms sizes XS-XXL, Mens shirts M-XL, and kids clothes newborn through size 6.
Is wardrobe included in my session?
Yes! Not only do we celebrate the new baby, but we also celebrate the role of becoming a big sibling.
Are siblings included in newborn and maternity portraits?
My studio has everything you need to take beautiful photos of your newborn. I have neutral wraps and sweet headbands for baby. My style is minimal focusing on the baby, so the use of props during the session is limited to keep the baby the focus. For older babies and toddlers, we have a rocking horse, and classic wooden toys to keep them engaged.
Do you have props and blankets for newborn sessions?
My natural light studio is located in the heart of Houston Heights at 1330 Yale Street and is the perfect place for your maternity, newborn, baby, or family session. Outdoor sessions are typically in West Houston, Cypress, or the Arboretum in a beautiful field with beautiful light.
